Responsibilities:

  • Channel Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive channel sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and VARs
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify new channel opportunities and emerging trends in data management technologies
  • Sales Training and Enablement: Train and enable partners to sell our products effectively, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and resources
  • Deal Structuring: Negotiate and structure large-scale distribution deals, aligning with both company objectives and partner needs
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze channel sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to channel sales
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective channel management and innovative sales strategies
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing channel sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Technology Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest developments in data management technologies to effectively communicate the value proposition to partners and customers

 

Qualifications, Technical Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record in channel sales, particularly in the software or technology sector
  • Strong understanding of data management software and the ability to sell advanced technologies
  • Experience in structuring and negotiating large distribution deals
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Strategic thinker with an analytical mindset
